She turns her back to the sea since 1861, the year of its construction, for protection from violent winds during storms, frequent at this place. This tiny dwelling was erected at a time when the building permit did not exist, where everyone could build at will and give free rein to his imagination. It was necessary also to have an immoderate love for the sea and its whims to live in such a place, especially in winter. L'occupante actuelle, en effet, petite-fille du premier maître des lieux quittera Tréguier où elle était née, pour aller faire fortune en Amérique.
