B&W NEW YORK CITY - VIEW FROM THE MANHATTAN BRIDGE Brooklyn fascinates me as a place that has been left behind for decades, so close to Manhattan, but always with a strong sense of identity regarding whatever everyone else thought about it. Nowadays the Brooklyn I am talking about seems to be disappearing with the gentrification. However, Brooklyn fights back and its spirit is still there, hidden in the small things, in the open, in its people. This is what this series is about. Last Stop Brooklyn by rickschwartz
This weekend I was in New York City for a photowalk with some colleagues at the Arcanum. It was a busy weekend with many stops at iconic locations in lower Manhattan, midtown and Brooklyn. On Saturday we estimated walking between fifteen to twenty miles. This was the last stop of the evening after crossing the Brooklyn Bridge in the afternoon. It was a fitting end to a day that began before sunrise at the opposite end of this same bridge. via 500px http://ift.tt/2gZFvTJ
